Youth Speaks is a national competition designed to develop the public speaking and debating skills of secondary school pupils. Teams comprising three students give speeches about their chosen subject within strict time limits and answer questions from the audience.

The winning team goes on to the next stage of the competition.

The event, which is held at the Abbey Theatre, St Albans, is organised by the Rotary Club of St Albans Priory and our involvement is to assist and share the cost.

We take action locally and globally. Each day, our members pour their passion, integrity, and intelligence into completing projects that have a lasting impact. We persevere until we deliver real, lasting solutions.
